Description
For four long years, a civil has been raging between the government forces, and the Revolutionary United Front (RUF), with current projections hinting at it lasting for many more years to come. International observers have reported many atrocities committed by both sides, including the mining and sale of diamonds to continue financing the war. Both have resorted to contracting private military companies and mercenaries to assist in their efforts and break the stalemate.
