As the Grozovian civil war escalates and civilian casualties mount, the United States faces international pressure to intervene. Unwilling to commit conventional forces, the President authorizes the deployment of limited special forces elements to perform surgical strikes in Grozovia. US SOCOM Task Force Ripper is created for this purpose. Intel has identified a network of covert FSB advisors operating with the Grozovian Republican Army which have been select as perfect targets for TF Ripper.
