Description
After recent unusual phenomena, the Livonian government evacuated and demilitarized a zone around Gieraltow. Shortly after a team of NATO scientists entered this zone, CSAT-uniformed Spetsnaz units forcefully broke quarantine to occupy the zone. The players have been contracted as an ad-hoc mercenary force to covertly enter the zone, prevent the LDF from recovering the scientists and, more importantly, prevent CSAT from extracting them.
CSAT forces are too numerous to fight head-on but the scientists are currently only under the direct guard of a lightly-armed recon company, so if the mercenaries move quickly and decisively, they can engage the recon company, eliminate the scientists and retreat before CSAT reinforcements arrive. However, civil unrest in the form of conflicting paramilitary groups may complicate that.

Air assets do not respawn, so it will be critical for Command and Pilots to avoid contested air space. Infantry respawn at the base camp's medical tent.
