Crystal Debouchment
With declining NATO influence in the East and the emergence of CSAT, pro-Western governments have been toppled either through political or military means. Chernarus is only the latest pending example.
Through Russian support as a medium, CSAT have taken to sponsoring a resurgence of ChDZK militants in armed uprisings against the pro-NATO government.
Chedaki insurgents - flooded with increasingly larger funding, more advanced equipment and greater numbers of foreign fighters - have flooded the coastline and pushed CDF forces inland, while both Russia and Takistan blockade the land borders, preventing the Defense Force from fleeing across their borders.
Despite this, however, one last holdout at the Devil's Castle landmark remains, the soldiers enduring weeks of siege and skirmishes.
