Description
2024: Tensions are rising between the nations of Chernarus and Takistan. The new Takistani regime, pressured by a need to rebuild following the NATO invasion, deposing
of the regime of Colonel Aziz, and the resulting insurgency and lawlessness that has left their economy in shambles. Due to this, the country has begun to eye the resources of their neighbours,
particularly natural resources and energy infrastructure.
Chernarus, having already rebuilt from their civil war and enjoying close relations with Western trade powers, has seen a boost in foreign investments in their own infrastructure. Of note is their
own mining industry, and their bustling oil industry - the latter of which is already encroaching upon the interests of the Takistan state-owned oil companies.
This has sparked further tensions, and as of six hours ago the Takistani embassy in Chernogorsk has evacuated the country, signaling the possible prelude to war.
