Description
About 48 hours ago, a CIA task force in Uzbekistan went dark after their aircraft crashed during the attempted deal and extraction of one Dr. Leonid Pavel. The entire task force, plus the doctor and one assailant who attempted a kidnapping, were presumed dead.
However, several hours ago we received credible SIGINT that the lead Agent on the task force was captured rather than killed in the crash, and is being held by the same group responsible for the crash in Al Rayak. The Agency thus has authorized a task force to move in and attempt a rescue.
