In the year 2035, the world is at a breaking point. Climate change, environmental degradation, and overexploitation of natural resources have pushed the planet to the brink. Global temperatures have reached unprecedented highs, storms rage across coastlines, and ecosystems once teeming with life now stand decimated. Yet, amidst this environmental collapse, corporate greed has not relented.

Multiple Oil and Gas companies across the planet are our primary targets. These companies have aggressively expanded their operations, doubling and tripling their output in key oilfields across the globe, especially in the regions where fossil fuel extraction is most damaging to the environment. While claiming to support sustainable practices these companies continue to pump oil at an ever-increasing rate, devastating local ecosystems, contributing to climate change, and empowering military factions that use the profits to suppress local populations and resist social change.

The Akhunds Oilfield, operated by BEP, British Electric and Petroleum, and guarded by ION Services, are among the most profitable. Hidden deep within our heartland, they extract billions of barrels of crude oil each year. These fields are heavily guarded by private military contractors and fortified. ION Services' interests are not just economic, but political, as they use their wealth to influence governments and subdue revolutionary movements that threaten their global hegemony.

Mission

As an insurgent force fighting against the oppressive fossil fuel companies and their protection service, the multinational corporation ION Services, you have been tasked with sabotaging their strategic oilfield operations located in the desert region of Anizay. Fossil fuel companies have been exploiting the local resources, polluting our land while they line their own pockets. The oilfield’s destruction is vital to crippling their business and their ability to pollute. Your objective is to infiltrate the facility, plant explosives on the oil wells, and exfiltrate before enemy reinforcements arrive. Do not plant explosives on the oil tankers as to not cause additional pollution. Our goal is to cut the supply, which will slowly decrease demand.
