Description
In recent years CSAT has been developing a Nanobot virus that only targets specific people whose DNA is not encoded into their master database, and after many years of research and development, CSAT has finally finished the virus and decided to deploy it in secret in the city of Stralsund as a test. CSAT moved into the city in the dead of night cutting all communications with the outside world to prevent the rest of the world from finding out.
The virus worked wiping out most of the city’s population, but it had some unfortunate side effects on a small percentage of the population, the nanobots attached themselves to the civilian’s nervous system. The nanobots have gained sentience by piggybacking off the civilian's nervous system and attaching themselves to their new host’s brains increasing their processing power. This has turned them into mindlessly Nanobot “zombies” attacking anything on sight, however, due to their programming these Nanobot “zombies” will still not attack CSAT forces, how unfortunate for us.
But there is good news word has gotten out of the city that the head-developer for the Nanobot’s firmware is in the city, in the event something went wrong, in this case, it did. The CSAT higher-ups liked the result that the virus caused and ordered the developer not to try to fix it but being a person of morals, he did anyway and got caught. After seeing that CSAT was using it on civilians he wanted no part of it.
